Salingarten with sculptures

The Salingarten

Since 1987, the Salingarten park in front of the CULTURE+CONGRESS CENTRE has become a sculpture park where visitors can admire large sculptures created by important sculptors from Rosenheim and the surrounding area. One example is the bronze sculpture “Man and Horse” by Prof. Heinrich Kirchner, who taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and lived in the village of Pavolding near Seeon. Kirchner often combined religious ideas with his works. Here, for example, he placed humans and animals on the same level.
