Be sure to plan a stop at one of the playgrounds during your visit to the city, for example in the Mangfallpark in the grounds of the former Bavarian State Garden Show or in the centrally located Riedergarten park.

Lokschuppen & Events
The modern Ausstellungszentrum Lokschuppen exhibition centre is part of Rosenheim’s first railway station complex and a special building in the city. Changing exhibitions offer informative and exciting excursions for the entire family. The centre’s family tours are tailored to both adults and children. What’s more, true to the motto of “Learning with all the senses”, the Lokschuppen also offers various interactive MITMACH-WORKSHOPS to encourage children’s creativity and dexterity.
The Rosenheim Culture and Congress Centre (KU’KO) usually offers a varied programme of musical and theatre performances and events suitable for children aged 4 and up for families, kindergarten groups and school visits. You can find its current programme here.

Outdoor fun in Rosenheim...
Rosenheim offers plenty of fun outdoor activities for young and old alike!
When the sun is shining, the city’s open-air swimming pool, the Freibad Rosenheim, is the ultimate place to be. Those who like it sporty and dynamic can get into the swing of things with a Segway tour, and animal lovers are sure to adore the petting zoo and playground at the Landgasthof Happinger Hof Country Inn. For an even closer animal encounter, namely on horseback, you can take a riding lesson at one of the city’s riding schools, for example Islandpferdehof Auensee or the Reit- & Fahrverein Rosenheim.

The Rofa-Eisstadion ice rink is the training ground of the Starbulls Rosenheim ice hockey team and the ideal place to hone your skating skills. Rosenheim’s Kletterhalle climbing hall, the Stuntwerk activity centre or a round of lasertag, paintball or Nerf shooting in the Black Fox World offer more sporty alternatives, or you can reach new heights in the Airstyle Trampolinpark.
What child doesn’t like to splash around? With its pleasant water temperatures of 29°C in its swimmers’ pool and 32°C in the toddler pool, the Hallenbad Rosenheim indoor swimming centre is ideal for younger visitors.
A really fun experience for young and old can be found in the exciting puzzle and riddles of the Escape Room, with strikes and spares at the Inn-Bowling Center or, for more creative minds, at the “Tausendschöne Lieblingsstücke” ceramics studio.
Fans of the big screen, on the other hand, can make the most of the diverse programme available at the Kinopolis Rosenheim cinema. Whether it’s an animated film or the adaptation of a classic children’s book, this is the perfect place for a family-friendly cinema visit and even offers you attractive discounts in the form of family prices.
